WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD Comings & Goings After attending the August Studio Open House of Gail & Zachariah Rieke in Santa Fe, Gayle was inspired to undertake a year-long project of writing a haiku every day, printing each on vellum, then photographing some subject that intrigues her and attaching it to the back of a Tarot card. Each card will be followed by the 7 haikus written that week. Each week she places the Tarot card and haikus in vellum envelopes and will eventually encase them in some appropriate manner to finish the project. Gayle states this has been an exercise in filling each day with some form of creativity. The project will end mid-August but she is considering continuing this as a Life Project. Gayle continues to create sculpted books which can be seen at the Jones Gallery, 1103-4A Paseo del Pueblo Norte in El Prado (Taos), New Mexico. Her one-woman show entitled ‘The Artful Book’ at the Pasos al Tiempo Studio during the month of March was a great success.			The Safari Series                Sacred Journey
